    POSITION OVERVIEW

    A Semiconductor & Tech Hardware Portfolio Manager is seeking a Jr. Analyst who will support research efforts focused on Tech Hardware & Semiconductor and adjacent companies. This is a newly created role due to growth of the team. The ideal candidate will have meaningful experience building detailed financial models, collecting and analyzing data, an innate curiosity driving deep research processes, and a demonstrated passion for equity investing. The Analyst will report directly to the PM and will have the opportunity to learn the tools necessary to succeed as an investor. The Analyst will interact with other investment professionals within the broader organization and will be expected to uphold the firm's culture of collaboration across teams. The successful candidate can expect a great deal of responsibility, exposure and ownership from day-one and will aspire to play a key role in the investment process from start to finish. The successful Analyst will have the opportunity to take on as much responsibility as is desired and, with demonstrated strong performance, will have the opportunity for professional development and advancement within the firm. We are targeting a Q1 start for this role.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Conduct company and industry fundamental research to develop a deep understanding of key business and industry drivers.

    · Create, maintain, and update company financial models.

    · Support the research efforts of the Portfolio Manager.

    · Stay apprised of emerging business trends and capital markets activity.

    · Clearly and effectively communicate and articulate ideas to colleagues.

    DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    Qualifications:

    The ideal candidate will have:

    · A strong academic record from a competitive institution - bachelor's degree required.

    · Minimum 1+ years of relevant professional experience – preference for investment banking, private equity, equity research, accounting, or equivalent experience. Sector experience not required but valued.

    · Professional experience with accounting and financial modeling.

    · Demonstrated passion for the equity markets, investing and analyzing companies.

    · Python & SQL programming experience preferred.

    The Firm offers a total compensation package that includes a base salary and discretionary performance-related bonus, as well as a comprehensive benefits package. Consistent with New York City's Pay Transparency Law, the currently anticipated base salary range for this role is $125,000 to $150,000, which is specific to New York City and New York State. When crafting an offer of employment and total compensation package for candidates, the Firm may incorporate a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, an individual's experience level and qualifications.
