- Assess, monitor and evaluate the nutritional status of patients receiving cancer care.
- Identifies goals and implements a specific nutrition intervention strategy.
- Performs in accordance with departmental polices and standards and within the American Dietetic Association guidelines.
- Possesses competent job skills and knowledge ensuring effective care for patients.
- Organizes and effectively performs functions of a clinical dietician in the outpatient oncology setting
- B.S. in Clinical Dietetics or Nutrition required. Must be a Registered Dietitian, current CT Dietitian licensure required and be a Certified Specialist in Oncologist (ASO) through the American Dietetic Association.
- Experience working in a clinical oncology setting required.
