- Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents covering software, systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.
- Write and edit technical documentation for project hardware and software, including installation, configuration, and instructional guides.
- Create code documentation, implementation guides, and end-user manuals while ensuring accuracy and clarity in all technical publications.
- Requires a minimum of six (6) years' experience as a Technical Writer in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution is mandatory.
- Substitution of four (4) years of additional Technical Writing experience is acceptable for a bachelor's degree.
- Assist in preparing and managing operations documentation, user guides, manuals, and technical publications.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and write clear and informative technical content for various document types.
- Collaborate with developers to produce high-quality documentation and training materials.
- Research and compile technical information from diverse sources for effective communication to a wide audience.
- Produce technical documentation for defense acquisition, user manuals, training materials, and project-specific documents.
- Apply technical writing standards and guidelines to create user-friendly documentation.
