Job Description
This position is part of the Hawaii Nurses and Healthcare Professionals Bargaining Unit. The candidate will provide direct nursing care using advanced scientific knowledge, nursing theory, and skills to assess, plan, and implement appropriate health and nursing care to patients, in addition to performing registered nursing functions. Responsibilities include directly caring for patients and guiding other personnel in the health care team, teaching and counseling individuals or groups, and serving as a consultant and resource of advanced nursing knowledge. The candidate will also participate in the evaluation of services rendered.
Essential Responsibilities:
Basic Qualifications:
Education: Masters degree in nursing in relevant field of specialty. License, Certification, Registration: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License (Hawaii), Registered Nurse License (Hawaii), National Provider Identifier, Basic Life Support (American Heart Association), Nurse Practitioner National Certificate. Experience: N/A.
Additional Requirements:
Demonstrated knowledge and skill in various areas including customer service, conflict resolution, counseling, problem solving, and teamwork.
