FIELD SERVICE Technician, REP Corporation

REP, a renowned company with a history of over a century, leads the way in rubber injection technology and machinery on a global scale. REP Corporation caters to sales and service needs in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. Upholding our commitment to excellence, we offer continuous internal training to our team while actively seeking top talent in the industry. Currently, REP Corp. is conducting interviews across the country to expand our team for supporting the installation and maintenance of high-pressure injection machinery. We are seeking a Field Service Technician primarily for assignments in the eastern region of the United States. The chosen candidate will either operate from their home base or, if feasible, from our main office located in the greater Knoxville area. The ideal candidate will deliver top-notch technical assistance to clients on-site with limited supervision. The main responsibilities will encompass installing, validating, and commissioning new injection machinery, alongside troubleshooting and repairing existing units in the field. Furthermore, the role will involve user training on the REP platform and remote support capabilities. Additionally, the position will entail service coordination, customer support, and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities:

Perform on-site installation, validation, and commissioning of REP machinery.
Conduct hands-on troubleshooting, service, and repairs at client locations.
Offer advanced technical support to clients on-site.
Provide informal training to clients on-site.
Collaborate with various teams including Parts Department, customer service, management, and sales.
Maintain service records in the company database.
Promptly and professionally address field service calls and related issues as delegated.
Complete and submit all necessary paperwork promptly.
Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and necessary corrective actions.
Carry out other duties relevant to the Field Service Engineer/Technician role.

Requirements and Benefits:

Preferably, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical qualifications in electrical/mechanical engineering or physical sciences. Substantial experience with the REP platform can compensate for formal education.
Proficiency in PLC and automation, along with a sound understanding of Hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Competence in MS Office, Excel, and Windows-based applications.
Ability to test and troubleshoot electrical analog and digital circuits.
Travel requirement of approximately 80% within the US, and potential international travel options but not mandatory.
