    About the Role

    We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager with a background in retail technology to join our team. You will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of retail technology solutions tailored to the needs of Funko retail operations. This person will be a self-starter, highly strategic and manage our retail product & systems roadmap. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to define system and product requirements, prioritize features, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance the customer experience, optimize operations, and drive business growth. You will manage and support operations for our retail stores, and partner with IT and other business stakeholders to ensure high uptime of retail systems and provide the best service for our teams.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives. Define the retail product & systems roadmap, prioritize features, and identify opportunities for innovation. Partner with direct-to-consumer team to identify areas of opportunity for brick-and-mortar retail systems.

    Product Development: Lead the product development process from concept to launch, working closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams. Define product requirements, create user stories, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

    Stakeholder Management & Vendor Relations: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including retail operations, marketing, sales, customer support, and direct-to-consumer to gather requirements, solicit feedback, and ensure alignment across teams. Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Own retail systems vendor management and relationships.

    Team Leadership: Manage a team of direct reports, including retail store systems engineers and other personnel. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. Ensure that your people development radar is always on, and you articulate behaviors that can grow careers.

    Communication: Communicate product plans, retail system issues, status updates, and key milestones to internal stakeholders and senior leadership. Present findings, recommendations, and progress reports in a clear and concise manner.

    Risk Management: Identify potential risks and obstacles that may impact product development or implementation. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address risks and ensure successful project delivery.

    Retail Support: Providing support to your team and acting as a backup to ensure that retail stores are fully operational. You'll assist in troubleshooting and resolving any technology related challenges. Whether it's a technical glitch in the point-of-sale system, or connectivity issues with digital displays, it's important to deliver timely assistance to minimize store disruptions.

    Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, understand customer needs, and assess market opportunities. Use insights to inform product decisions and drive continuous improvement.

    Must-Have Superhero Gadgetry
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred
    • 7+ years' experience in a technology related role
    • Experience at a direct-to-consumer business
    • 5+ years in a lead role and managing people.
    • Solid understanding of business processes in Retail Operations
    • Demonstrated knowledge of one or more POS Systems, Self Service Kiosks, and other retail related systems
    • Hands-on and proven leadership experience
    • Strong command of modern, cloud-based support tools
    • Proven track record of successfully driving technology projects and products.
    • Agile SCRUM experience
    • Passion for delivering for your customers.
    • Willing to travel 25% of your time.

    Salary Information

    The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $105, ,000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
