    We are a leading player in the manufacturing industry, seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager for Demand Planning to join our team.

    The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving our strategic planning initiatives, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

    Responsibilities:
    1. Develop and implement effective demand planning strategies based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and market trends.

    • Manage and optimize inventory levels to ensure product availability and minimize costs.
    • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to align demand planning with company objectives.
    • Oversee warehouse management, ensuring efficient and safe storage, handling, and distribution of products.
    • Develop and manage the demand planning budget, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
    • Lead and mentor a team of demand planning professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
    • Conduct regular maintenance and updates of demand planning systems and tools.
    • Liaise with suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and other supplies.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in demand planning and inventory management

    Qualifications:
    1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certification would be an advantage.

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or a related role in the manufacturing industry.
    • Proven experience in warehouse management, sales, and budget management.
    • Strong knowledge of demand planning processes and tools.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
    • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency in relevant software, such as ERP and demand planning systems.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
