    Description

    About the Company and Accounts Receivable Specialist Opportunity:

    • CFS is partnering with a top client in engineering to hire an additional Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team and work from their Catonsville, MD office. They are looking to have this employee start on a contractual basis and become permanent fairly quickly if they are the right fit.
    • Company has been described as relaxed, flexible, and having a family feel.
    • This position will ideally begin immediately for the selected candidate after an interview
    • Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30/8:30am-3:30/4:30pm. Can be somewhat flexible if needed
      • 100% in office in the Catonsville/Halethorpe area. Free parking
    • Some of the employee reviews include things like:

    Job Duties for the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

    • Process AR transactions
    • Prepare cash receipts for processing
    • Perform account reconciliations
    • Assist with collection efforts
    • Work with project managers and accountants on projects

    Ideal Candidate for the Accounts Receivable Specialist Role:

    • Must be able to process a high volume of work in a very fast paced environment
    • Detail oriented, self motivated, and excellent communication skills
    • Possesses multitasking abilities, excellent problem solving and decision making skills
    • Analytical mindset and time management abilities
    • Has a positive attitude and is willing to take on any challenge
    • Must enjoy working with a variety of different people

    Qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

    • 3+ years of AR/collections experience required
    • Proficient Excel skills
    • Experience using Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint a plus, but not required
