- Analyzes information and compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
- Call on regular and prospective customers.
- Maintain complete and accurate files.
- Make decisions along with company management pertaining to the building of orders, Logistics etc.
- Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
- Prepares reports of Business Transactions, Leads, Calls for proper tracking.
- Work in conjunction with the President/Sales Manager to generate profitable orders/contracts.
- Follows SOP for maintaining and establishing proper credit approval/processing.
- Fully responsible to handle complete process of order and work in conjunction with other departments in Accounting, Logistics, QA to fulfill order facilitate proper sales transactions.
- Complete file with any/all paperwork pertaining to freight, warehouse, auxiliary charges, etc. according to and with company established SOP.
- Develop strategic global relationships with growers, processors, and packers throughout the world.
- Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts and customers.
- Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries, product inquiries, rejections, etc.
- Maintains contact with customers and outside vendors.
