We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Forest Hills, New York.

As part of a nonprofit organization, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate records and ensuring the seamless organization of both digital and physical files.

This is a long-term contract position offering an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the organization's operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Input data into electronic systems with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Review and verify information for completeness and compliance with established standards.
  • Organize, maintain, and update physical and digital records systematically.
  • Handle sensitive data securely and ensure confidentiality in all tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and operational goals.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to upload and manage records effectively.
  • Assist with transitioning data into new systems as required.
  • Perform audits on data entries to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Operate computers and software tools proficiently to complete assigned tasks.
  • Address discrepancies and resolve data-related issues promptly.
  • At least 1 year of experience in data entry or a related field.
  • Proficiency in handling numeric and text-based data entry tasks.
  • Strong computer operation skills, including familiarity with data entry software.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple files and tasks efficiently.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data processing.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative approach.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information responsibly.
