We are looking for a dynamic Production Planner for a non-lethal weaponry company located in Akron, OH. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package including health and dental coverage after the probation period, 401k retirement plan with employer contribution, PTO and holidays

Production Planner Responsibilities:

Creating and implementing operational schedules.

Managing inventory levels while also cycle counting and auditing part counts.

Process sales orders into manufacturing orders and handle the conversion for shop schedules.

Forecast inventory to better understand best reordering points.

Shipping coordination and communicating with customers shipping lead times.

Production Planner Requirements:

5+ years of experience.

Barcode implementation experience would be a plus.

Experience with ERP systems (Fishbowl preferred)
