    Job Description

    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years special education experience required.
    ProCare has an ideal position for you if you are a Special Education Teacher with a passion for the pediatric setting We have a supportive school district with a full-time opening, and it prefers someone who has school-based experience. However, it is open to speaking candidates who are interested in pediatrics.

    A K-12th grade caseload is the one you would be servicing. Send me your resume to have an interview set up with the school director as interviews are currently being conducted right now

    Job Details:
    • Onsite near the Clinton, Connecticut area
    • Start ASAP
    • # students/sites and caseload information will be discussed more in depth with special services' director during interview

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field)
    • Valid state(CT)teaching certification/license in Special Education.
    • Prior experience working with students with special needs in inner city is preferred
    • Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best
    Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
    • Provide specialized instruction and support to help students achieve academic and social goals
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing learning environment
    • Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
    • Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
