    Lockheed Martin is seeking an Early Career Industrial Engineer for our Ocala, Florida location. Ocala Operations is a multi-shift manufacturing facility that build circuit cards, wiring harnesses, and electro- assemblies. The facility currently has over 1200 employees and provides products to six Missiles and Fire Control sites.

    Ocala specializes in both low volume high mix and high volume production that has a combination of automated processes as well as labor intensive manufacturing.

    Ocala Operations has a represented manufacturing workforce that is supported by a strong engineering and operations support team.

    Essential Functions of an Entry Level Industrial Engineer Includes:

    Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.

    May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.

    Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.

    On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.

    May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.
    Seeking recent or May 2024 graduates with availability to start in May 2024.


    Basic Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to plan, organize, and prioritize tasksAdaptability in fast-paced environment

    Desired Skills:
    Understanding of Time Study, Continuous Process Improvement, Optimization, etc.
    Knowledge in simulation programs (SIMIO, Flex-Sim, etc.)

    Experience in CAD (AutoCAD, Solidworks)Understanding of analytical tools (Tableau, PowerBI)Certification Lean Manufacturing and/or Six SigmaAbility to work in a collaborative and team-based environmentExcellent communication skillsProficient with Microsoft OfficeClearance Level:

    Ability to Work Remotely:
    Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility

    Work Schedules:
    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

    These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.


    Schedule for this Position:
