- Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, teaching undergraduate and graduate level sport psychology courses, advising students, developing, and enforcing policy, evaluating student performance, supervising graduate sport psychology practicum placements, serving as MS thesis research chair and committee member for SEPP students, participating in accreditation processes, and administering other aspects of the graduate education program.
- The candidate will engage in scholarly activity, university, and community service, and work with other university departments to recruit students in the College of Health and Wellness.
- All applicants must be CMPC certified through the Association of Applied Sport Psychology & be approved mentors for CMPC certification.
- Applicants must have a Doctoral degree in sport, exercise, or performance psychology or a related field and have CMPC mentorship experience.
- Previous experience teaching at a college level is preferred

Summary
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the discipline and the departmental core; provide thesis mentoring, engage in Program, College, and University service, and engage in scholarly research.
This is a 9 month-August to May assignment
This is a Hybrid position
Essential Functions
The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate will be to:
* utilize face-to-face, online, and blended teaching modalities to facilitate student learning in graduate and undergraduate coursework as assigned by the department chair
* have experience teaching one or more of the following: Sport Psychology, Exercise Psychology, CMPC Supervised Mentorship, Sport Ethics.
