    Description
    We are looking for a nationally certified personal trainer for active senior members. Part time position available. Must have flexible schedule and must be able to work weekends. TPI, NASM and NSCA certification is a plus.

    Summary

    Responsible for the activity of members and guests on the Fitness floor.

    The primary responsibility is to create a safe environment for the members by ensuring initial screening through the health history questionnaire, proper use of equipment through an orientation or training session, and proper maintenance of the equipment.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities


    • Provides outstanding service to our members and their guests in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Manages scheduling of personal clientele lessons.
    • Administers fitness assessments, develops exercise prescriptions and provides individual training for members and guests.
    • Obtains medical clearance from physician or therapist for members prior to training.
    • Provides orientation to new members. Screens new members and guests as to health history.
    • Enforces Club Rules & Regulations and proper etiquette is adhered to by members and guests.
    • Keeps fitness equipment clean, lubricated and in good working condition.
    • Assists with opening and closing procedures and answering the phones, when needed.
    • Ensures supplies such as towels, water cups, and disinfecting wipes are well stocked for fitness center.
    • Attends regularly scheduled meetings.

    Education and/or Experience
