Evolution is partnering with a Fortune 500 Fintech company, looking to hire an ML Engineering Team Lead. This is a brand new team, and you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of finance through the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence.

As the ML Engineering Team Lead, you will lead a team of talented machine learning engineers in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and robust machine learning solutions that drive business impact. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging AI technology and lead the implementation of innovative solutions that enhance products and services.

You will...

• Lead a team of machine learning engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to drive excellence in machine learning practices and methodologies.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into effective machine learning solutions.
• Design and develop end-to-end machine learning pipelines, from data ingestion and preprocessing to model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Implement best practices for model monitoring, performance optimization, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) to ensure the reliability and scalability of machine learning systems.
• Stay abreast of advancements in machine learning algorithms, tools, and frameworks, and evaluate their applicability to our business needs.
• Drive innovation through research and experimentation, exploring new techniques and approaches to solve complex business problems.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in machine learning engineering, with a strong track record of designing and deploying production-grade machine learning systems.
• Proficiency in machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and experience with distributed computing platforms (e.g., Spark) preferred.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, with experience in building and deploying scalable software applications.
• Experience leading and managing a team of machine learning engineers, with a focus on fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of AWS and experience deploying machine learning models in a cloud environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
