Minimum Qualifications
1. Must possess NM PED Level II Teacher with Master's Degree or National Board Certification or Level III license.
2. Must have 5 years of successful teaching experience.
3. Valid secondary teaching license or relevant certification in a STEM field.
4. Experience teaching secondary mathematics, science, computer science, or engineering related courses.
5. Demonstrated experience supporting instructional materials adoption and implementation.
6. Interest or experience in technology integration, computer science, robotics, or digital citizenship.
7. Strong background in professional learning design and instructional coaching.
8. Ability to analyze implementation and student data to inform instructional support.
9. Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
10. Experience delivering professional development/ mentoring to peers in high yield strategies to support student achievement within the specified content area(s).
11. Sophisticated understanding with the state adopted content area standards to include backwards design, lesson planning, assessment, and pacing.
12. Evidence of strong oral and written language skills.
13. Proven experience working with emergent bilingual/SPED/low socio-economic populations (preferred).
14. Evidence of technology integration skills to assist in creating engaging and differentiated learning experiences.
15. Evidence of school or district leadership in the specified content area(s), along with success in teaching all subjects, preferably in an integrated fashion.
16. Strong evidence of ability to work effectively with other educators.
17. Strong evidence of ability to lead/facilitate teacher and student groups that result in positive student outcomes.
