    Surgical Technologist



    Description:

    • In collaboration with the surgical team, ensure a safe and effective conduct of invasive and non-invasive procedures.
    • Maintain awareness of patient safety and equipment functionality throughout the procedure.


    A Surgical Technologist is an allied health professional who plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care. They work under the supervision of a surgeon to prepare patients for surgery, assist during procedures, and maintain a sterile environment. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
    :
    • Graduate from a CAAHEP-accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent experience;
    • 1-2 years of experience as a certified surgical technician (CST) preferred;Licensure/Certification Requirements: Must obtain LCC-ST certification within 1 year if not already certified; Physical Demands: Standing up to 90% of working hours; Ability to lift up to 36 pounds;
