This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services This position is located at 201 Tabernacle Road.
This is professional psychiatric work providing direct patient care involving provision of evaluation, diagnosis and treatment services to an assigned patient caseload within the facilities and programs of state or local agencies.
Employees serve in a variety of professional medical roles including general psychiatry, child and adolescence psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, geriatrics and forensics psychiatry.
Employees may serve on interdisciplinary treatment teams and committees and act as a consultant to other medical/clinical staff or as a liaison to agencies concerned with the welfare of the patient population.
Work may include the guidance and supervision of psychiatric residents and fellows. While work is performed with independent professional responsibility, employees are generally accountable to a director of mental health.NOTE:
