Job Description

Responsibilities in a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Center (PPEC):
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by the physician
- Conduct physical examinations and health assessments
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and laboratory test results
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient information, medical history, and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive care measures
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric setting
- Proficiency in medical documentation and electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Experience in critical care or ICU is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Physical ability to lift and transfer patients as needed
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
