This is an in-office role where your accuracy and organizational skills will help ensure smooth, compliant transactions for our valued clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Funder for all mortgage loans
  • Record Deed of Trust's and any other required documents that require recordation
  • Handle internal and secondary market lock desk
  • Complete Payoff requests within 48 hours of receipt. Joint responsibility with other Servicing Tech. 
  • Complete subordination and modification requests, handle recording and update all changes within all required systems. 
  • Responsible for all Mortgage Loan Servicing needs.   
  • Interfaces with Midwest Loan Services for current loans serviced by MLS. 
  • Responsible for recording all releases on paid off mortgage loans within required regulatory timelines. 
  • Responsible for all mortgage insurance claims to ensure all proper AACU policies are followed and repairs completed as well as all applicable funds held are properly disbursed. 
  • Responsible for sorting daily mail for insurance policies, title policies, etc. 
  • Responsible for ensuring Flood Insurance policies are up to date and follow AACU policy. 
  • Answers mortgage servicing hotline. Returns or forwards member inquiry calls as appropriate. Research and answers member inquiries regarding mortgage payments, balances, escrow management, servicing releases. 
  • Tracks inquiry calls once assigned to a loan officer to ensure follow up.
  • Required to obtain and maintain a notary public commission.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Mortgage Processes and Regulations - Understanding of residential mortgage funding, loan documentation, and compliance with federal and state regulations. Two years' experience in mortgage lending or banking required.
  • Attention to Detail and Accuracy - Ability to review, verify, and process complex financial documents with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills - Strong ability to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and ensure all transactions meet company and regulatory standards.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills - Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal teams, lenders, and clients.
  • Organizational and Time Management Abilities - Capable of managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and maintaining thorough records in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Proficiency -Familiarity with loan origination systems, mortgage servicing software, and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Experience with Encompass preferred. 

Pay Information:

The pay ranges represent the low and high end of the base salary range for this position.

Grade Value 800: $ $26.97
