The Lead Telecommunication Network Architect will design optimize and orchestrate services for a complex telecom network spanning 1000+ locations define enterprise standards for Multiprotocol Label Switching IP/MPLS dedicated point-to-point carrier services extranet services dense wavelength-division multiplexing DWDM microwave transport flow/proxy-based firewalls and layer 2and layer 3 VPN encryption IPSec MACSEC Develop standardized processes designs for implementation by engineering deployment Prepare migration strategies consolidating converting networks to advanced dynamic routing BGP extensions with segment-routing SR SR TE EVPN as well as security policies NATs Route Maps network automation Lead Network Standards Request For Proposal RFP Avangrid efforts establish procurement vehicles Telecom products services participate global Network Standards Request For Proposal efforts representing Avangrid A candidate responsible communicating network architecture deployment decisions entire Operation Smart Grids organization develop performance analysis security operations proactive network monitoring conjunction monitoring management organizations Analyze network flows performance disaster recovery optimization starting at center through MPLS core designing successful scaling network deployments packet transition efforts migrate communication services modern future platforms The ideal candidate experience preparing business use cases cost justifications presenting executive leadership experience preparing RFPs meet business needs forecasting budgeting evaluate usage criteria determine successful adoption execution
