    Description

    Electro-Mechanical Technician

    Be part of the team that builds cutting-edge technology used to ensure the safety of airplanes and trains As a Matec Electro-Mechanical Technician, you'll sharpen your expertise by working alongside industry veterans and building one-of-a-kind testing systems.

    Here's what you'll do:

    • Craft intricate systems from scratch, using your skills to bring complex designs to life.
    • Collaborate with a passionate team to solve challenging problems and create groundbreaking solutions.
    • Building our state-of-the-art nondestructive testing systems will help ensure the safety of critical infrastructure for the aerospace and railroad industries.

    Here's what you need to apply:

    • Automation Machine Build Assembly experience strongly desired.
    • Strong maintenance/mechanical background
    • Must be versatile in and around a manufacturing environment.
    • Knowledge of machine tool assembly, use of typical machine shop equipment like mills, lathes, grinders, and hand tools
    • Previous experience with mechanical assembly and maintenance in the automation industry.
    • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and electrical schematics/wiring diagrams.
