- Help build out and manage a staff of up to 2 supervisors and 20 employees across a two-shift operation to manufacture and test solid rocket motors
- Set specific, measurable, and achievable goals for team in alignment with company objectives
- Ensure a strong focus is placed on safety, and achieve excellent safety performance with the team
- Lead root cause investigation and corrective actions for workmanship driven quality issues
- Review work instructions and drive change recommendations to improve process efficiency, quality and repeatability
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement for all assigned products and processes
- Think creatively; question the status quo, while following documentation and maintaining prescribed quality standards
- Support overall organization in the strategic planning of labor, facilities, equipment, and other resources
- Identify and develop training programs
- Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience working in an aerospace, automotive, aviation, or other manufacturing environment
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports
- Willing and able to work extended hours and/or weekends with minimal notification to meet critical deadlines leading up to major milestones

We're designing, building, and testing next generation long range strike weapons systems to give America and its Allies a definitive edge and deter future conflicts.
Site Operations Manager – Solid Motor Production (Midland, TX)
As Site Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Castelion's new site in Midland, Texas. This site will include the infrastructure required to produce and ground test solid rocket motors for Castelion and other customer needs. This role will report to Castelion's Head of Manufacturing to ensure the company's operational and manufacturing goals are met without delay.
Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications

Clear Communicator. Proactively communicates blockers. Trusted in previous roles to be voice of company with regulators, suppliers, gate keepers and customers. Capable of tactfully managing relationships with stakeholders to achieve company-desired outcomes without compromising relationships. Emails, IMs and verbal interactions are logical, drive clarity, and detailed enough to eliminate ambiguity.
ITAR Requirements:
To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
