Sturdy Corporation is seeking a skilled and dedicated Full Time Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical, technical, and troubleshooting background with the ability to repair various systems in a manufacturing environment. Occasional overtime may be necessary based on business needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to the following:
To support and adhere to the Quality Policy, Environmental Policy, and Corporate Mission Statement. Demonstrate commitment to "Total Customer Satisfaction" while providing unsurpassed quality and services. Adhere to all environmental policies and regulations and strive to prevent pollution and maintain a clean and healthy environment. Support and participate in Sturdy's continuous improvement programs. While performing the following functions:
Preventative Maintenance: Clean, lubricate, and adjust equipment to optimize performance and prevent failure while incorporating preventative and predictive measures.
Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic malfunctions, replacing faulty components. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Installation: Set up, calibrate, and disassemble industrial machinery and robots.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA regulations, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and company safety standards at all times.
Documentation: Maintain maintenance records and technical reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
· 1-3 years of experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, and other mechanical systems affiliated with facility maintenance and manufacturing equipment repair, experience with electrical systems knowledge. A combination of training and experience is preferred.
· A motivated, detail oriented, self-starter, with a strong work ethic is desired.
· Electrical, HVAC and CNC maintenance experience preferred.
Job description
Responsibilities and duties:
- Diagnoses, monitors and performs preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment
- Day to day routine facility maintenance to include plumbing, painting, HVAC, and repairs.
- Maintain facility in operational state, addressing and completing repairs on any equipment or process systems that may be assigned.
- Supporting and assisting with Maintenance and Engineering projects.
- Handles working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment to include machinery and support equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the Maintenance Department.
