Job summary
The Certified Pharmacy Technician performs various duties in the Pharmacy department under the direct supervision of the pharmacist. They fill medication orders, cart for distribution to patient floors, and exchange medications from carts on a daily basis. The technician also prepackages special medications into unit-dose form with pharmacists verification and accurately delivers medication to pharmacy automated med stations.
