• BLOUNT, a family physicians' office located in Alcoa, TN .

Team member will float between various offices within the Blount County Cancer Center building.
Position offers flexible scheduling for a Monday through Friday work week.


Job duties include:

Greet patients in friendly and timely mannerEnsure that patients complete necessary forms required for the electronic health record and billing officeMaintain patient demographic and insurance information; verifies insurance eligibility and collects co-paysEnsures good patient flow through practice by timely processing of patients as they arrive at front officeAnswer patient inquiries regarding patient registration information or billing questionsRefers patient inquiries regarding medical care or treatment to medical assistant or physicianSchedules patients with appropriate physicianDocument scanning into electronic health recordOther duties as assigned Full benefit package available including PTO, Sick Leave, Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, 401(k) with company match and immediate vesting, Critical Illness, Life Insurance, EAP, and more Requirements 6-months to 1-year previous medical office experienceStrong communication skills, attention to detail, time management, and organization are critical to the overall success of the candidate.
