    ABOUT THE ROLE:

    Manages all aspects of responses to Request for Tender (RFT), tenders, and bids pertaining to ocean
    accounts focusing on quotes for all export and Asia-Pacific (APAC) imports
    * Arranges Intermodal transport
    * Coordinates with overseas offices to collect accurate local charges and air/ocean freight rates while
    assessing data from a variety of sources to prepare a competitive price for the customer

    EXPERIENCE:

    Minimum of 5 years of related and/or combination of education and work experience
    * Experience with US Customs Regulations. CHB licensed preferred, but not required
    * Experience with the CargoWise suite of logistics software
    * Knowledge in all modes of transport

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

    Excellent written and oral communication skills that demonstrate a proven ability to develop
    relationships with a range of internal and external customers
    * Strong Analytical skills
    * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions,
    and procedure manual
    * Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
    * Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or
    diagram form
    * Strong organization and project-management skills, including the ability to meet demanding, evolving,
    and often competing deadlines
    * Ability to Work cross-functionally throughout departments to prioritize pricing request responses
