Alchemy has an amazing opportunity for an experienced Tax professional to join an exciting company in Birmingham, AL.

Responsibilities:

• Create federal and state tax returns for individuals and companies.
• Perform a range of tax consulting tasks, including nexus investigations and analysis of permanent establishments.
• Conduct technical tax research on all areas relating to federal, state, and international taxes.
• Help with the creation of income tax provisions for business taxpayers in accordance with ASC 740.
• Create clear & understandable work documents and communications.
• Deliver on-time, high-quality services and products that surpass clients' expectations.
• Manage expectations and guarantee consumer pleasure, keep up active contact.

Skills:

• At least 2 years federal and state income tax experience, with some experience gained in public accounting.
• A degree in accounting or a masters in accounting or taxation.
• CPA licence or equivalent.
• Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Process-oriented and well-versed in analysis and problem-solving.
• Ability to work positively within a team.
• Strong writing, research, and interpersonal abilities.
• CCH Axcess tax experience is desired.
• Previous experience in the manufacturing & distribution industry is preferred.
