Position Overview:
The Senior Category Manager, Capital Equipment & Tooling has responsibility for strategic category leadership and leading negotiations for Capital and Tooling purchases for the entire organization.
The Senior Category Manager has the critical responsibility of managing business needs with internal partners to identify and manage a supply base to deliver value across all SBUs.

Learn more about our benefits hereResponsibilities:Responsible for strategy development, execution of Procurement processes and supplier relationship managementDevelop & implement multi-year category strategies with goals to increase spend with preferred suppliersDevelop relationships and communication strategies with internal partners to identify business needs and align supply base to achieve strategic directionResponsible for building and managing strategic supplier relationships through formal Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) process to improve supplier performance metrics including quality, delivery, productivity, and innovationProvide leadership and oversight of the sourcing process to ensure spend is awarded to provide the maximum valueLead the development and negotiation of contracts through the contract lifecycle maximizing value while minimizing riskPartner with Regional and Global Procurement teams to ensure delivery of productivity and cost avoidanceKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or related fieldMBA or advanced degree preferred7+ years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain.

Project Management – Collaborates with cross-functional leaders to align objectives, manages global project portfolio, oversees overall implementation.Global Business Thinking/Strategizing
Relationship Management – Creates collaborative environment with cross-functional peers, assures regular/appropriate two-way communication flow, builds/maintains relationship with industry peers and supplier leaders, and reinforces lead on voice to the supply base.
Change Management – Develops and utilizes change management tools to educate business on key strategies and business objectives to support vision of indirect procurement.
Base Pay Range:
$150,000 – $190,000Disclaimer:
This "range" could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed, education, experience, travel requirements for the job, or because of a system the employer uses to measure earnings by quantity or quality of production (so, for example, positions that may not have traditional salary ranges).
