Description

As a dual report, this role functions as an assistant director assigned to support the fundraising and development efforts of the VUJ Campus/Foundation (VUJF) in cooperation with the VU Foundation (VUF).

This position will also support special projects related to alumni and donor development as assigned by the Executive Director of the VUF.

The successful candidate will be required to maintain office hours at both the Vincennes and Jasper Campuses, regardless of where their position is based.

Duties and Responsibilities
Cultivate, solicit and build relationships with donors and alumni with a special emphasis on the Jasper Campus
Coordinate and manage VUJF annual and special campaigns, i.e. Blazers Give Day, and Scholastic Excellence
Serve as a primary facilitator of the collaboration between the VU Foundation and the VU Jasper Campus Foundation
Provide administrative support to the VUJF President and Executive Director of VUF
Work with the VUF Account Analyst and fund holders to process gifts and provide status reports
Coordinate with the Director of Development and VU Director of Alumni Engagement to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of donor and alumni records and databases
Support the stewardship process of donors
Cultivate and secure grant opportunities
Cultivate, solicit and build relationships with donors and alumni with a special emphasis on the Jasper Campus
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of donor and alumni records and databases
Manage special events
Other related duties as assigned

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred
Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
