    Alaant Workforce Solutions is recruiting an Electrical Engineer for our client's growing manufacturing team in Latham, NY.

    Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer who will be critical in leading electronic product development, research, prototype, DFM, and production testing. This role is responsible for new product development and product sustenance for manufacturing.

    Hours and Benefits for the Electrical Engineer:

    • Monday – Friday regular business hours
    • The salary is between $80,000 - $100,000.

    Responsibilities for the Electrical Engineer:

    • You will work within a team environment on new product development with product sustenance for manufacturing.
    • You will design analog, digital, power, and charging circuits.
    • You will create and manage BOMs to reproduce the design on the manufacturing floor.
    • You will author module requirements, test protocols, and test reports.
    • Author and maintain work instructions for design transfer to manufacturing.

    Requirements for the Electrical Engineer:

    • Master's degree in electrical engineering.
    • 3+ years' experience working in a manufacturing environment.
    • Experience with microcontroller-based board design and mixed-signal I/O
    • Proficient in Altium schematic capture and board layout
    • Experience using revision control software with Altium.
    • Experience with vendor interfacing, maintenance, management, and dealing with CMOs.
    • Experience working in a lab or experimental environment.
    • Experience using test instruments, oscilloscopes, signal generators, DMMs, and network analyzers.
    • Must have experience working on systems spanning DC to 50 MHz
    • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently.
    • Must be a US Citizen or Green Cardholder
