    YOUR DAY TO DAY AS A TRAVELING HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC

    To thrive as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at S.J. Louis, you should possess a comprehensive understanding of construction equipment maintenance, showcasing expertise in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel, and gasoline systems. Your experience in heavy equipment repairs and diagnostics will be invaluable, along with your proficiency in working with hydraulics and electrical systems. Attention to detail is key as you follow procedures and instructions from management, ensuring precision in every task.

    Holding a Class A or B CDL license with a clean driving record is essential, enabling you to travel on a regular rotation schedule with ease. Your dedication to excellence, coupled with your ability to adapt to different environments, will set you up for success in this exciting and dynamic role.

    Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

    A knowledge of construction equipment maintenance

    including electrical

    mechanical

    hydraulic

    pneumatic

    diesel

    gasoline and record keeping

    Experience in heavy equipment repairs and diagnostics

    Experience working with hydraulics and electrical systems

    Ability to follow procedures and managerial direction

    Strong attention to detail

    Class A or B CDL license is required Clean Driving Record

    Ability to travel on a regular rotation schedule
