    Description

    Senior Electrical Engineer at Collins Aerospace

    Collins Aerospace, a company known for its innovative solutions in the global aerospace and defense industry, is currently looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be working on designing communication products, focusing on digital PCB design from start to finish.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Part selection and creation of Bill of Materials (BOM)
    • Schematic capture and component placement
    • Setting routing constraints and design rules
    • Routing validation and analysis
    • Design documentation preparation
    • Design verification and troubleshooting

    Qualifications/Experience Needed:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering
    • Experience with schematic capture using Siemens/Mentor Graphics
    • Lab experience in design verification and troubleshooting
    • Knowledge of high-power signal routing
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Tool Suite
    • Effective communication and writing skills

    *Ability to obtain a SECRET Security Clearance or higher*

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with Siemen's Xpedition Design Tools
    • Knowledge of IPC Standards for PCB Design and Fabrication
    • Bench level testing and troubleshooting experience
    • Understanding of IEEE and MIL standards
    • Data/Library Management tools proficiency
