    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced

    ECMO-trained Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

    to support a high-acuity critical care team in a large academic medical center environment.

    This role involves hands-on management of patients requiring advanced cardiopulmonary support, including ECMO therapy. The ideal candidate is confident in ICU settings and experienced with complex ventilator management and ECMO circuit monitoring.

    Required Qualifications


    MANDATORY:
    ECMO experience
    Active

    California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License
    RRT credential (NBRC)
    BLS (AHA)
    ACLS (AHA)
    Minimum

    2 years of ICU respiratory experience
    Preferred Experience

    Adult ICU, CVICU, or MICU background
    Experience troubleshooting ECMO circuits
    Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
    Experience in large acute care or teaching hospitals
