Pharmacy Technician - Saint Peter, United States - Rivers Edge Hospital

Description

We have one full-time position (.9 FTE, 72 hours per two weeks) available in our Pharmacy department.

• Rotating 8 hour shifts between the hours of 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Mon-Friday and 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sundays (no Saturday currently)

Supports pharmacy services by stocking, assembling, and distributing medications.

• Provides quality customer service to patients and other healthcare providers, by greeting them in person and by phone; answering questions and requests; referring inquiries to the pharmacist.
• Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing outdated drugs.

1. Registered by the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy required.
2. Experience preferred.
