Main Purpose of Job: This is a full-time contractual position focused on providing psychiatric nursing care to adolescents with emotional disabilities and court-involved youth on a Residential Unit. The role involves medication administration, managing groups of adolescents daily, and overseeing nursing care delivery on an assigned unit. The position also includes training for Charge Nurse responsibilities and operates on the 2nd shift (2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education requirements are determined by the Maryland State Board of Nursing for Registered Nurses. No prior experience is necessary.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will have experience working with adolescents facing emotional disabilities and court involvement.
