- Medical Support Assistant will scan all patient documents into the patient's Electronic Health Record (EHR), and manage all release-of-information requests.
- Answer phones and take messages or transfer calls as needed.
- Assist with coverage for patient registration, assist patients with scheduling appointments, and assist the Purchased and Referred Care technicians with sending and getting medical documentation from providers.
- Assist the Supervisory Health Systems Specialist as needed for duties to be performed.
- MSA must possess a High School Diploma or GED
- must maintain Heart Association BLS certification
- MSA must provide documentation of related customer service experience within the past 12 months, and current American Heart Association Certifications (BLS).

- Knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office, Adobe, and conferencing software.
- Proficient writing and organizational skills.
