Speed Global Services is avidly seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our growing team One will be responsible for all operations within a warehouse, including planning, directing, and coordinating distribution, as well as overseeing a team to ensure all functions are completed efficiently.
**Duties and responsibilities**
Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
Manages warehouse staff by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Achieves financial objectives by managing labor hours; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by adhering to and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
Reviewing and implementing operational policies and procedures as required by the facility.
Maintains physical condition of warehouse and equipment by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
**Qualifications**
5+ years of Warehouse Management experience required.
Associate Degree or equivalency required.
Outstanding leadership, organizational, multi-tasking, and problem solving skills.
Proficient computer skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to operate Warehouse equipment (IE: Forklifts, Reach Trucks, electric pallet jacks, etc.).
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Synapse preferred).
Proficient knowledge of inventory controls.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $51, $65,000.00 per year
