    Vacancy Overview:

    We are currently seeking a Data Engineering Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting and advising on cutting-edge data solutions. Your main duties will involve collaborating with clients to grasp their data needs, shaping data solutions that align with these requirements, and ensuring seamless data processing for analytics and reporting purposes.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate closely with client stakeholders and analytics specialists to comprehend and address data requirements for innovative solutions.
    • Create, implement, and enhance dimensional data models using SSMS and Visual Studio, ensuring data precision, efficiency, and consistency.
    • Ensure solutions align with business needs and industry standards.
    • Offer support to analytics specialists on effective modeling practices.
    • Comprehend and troubleshoot ETL processes.
    • Work with the solutions team to pinpoint areas for enhancement and optimization of the data platform.
    • Readily adapt to new technologies and tools to make informed decisions for efficient data processing.
    • Collaborate with customer success managers and partake in project planning and coordination.
    • Maintain strict adherence to project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely task completion.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
    • Possess over 2 years of experience in data engineering or a relevant role.
    • Proficiency in T-SQL with exposure to Python / PySpark being advantageous.
    • Sound knowledge of database development, including SQL syntax, proper joins, and ad-hoc query writing.
    • Solid understanding of data modeling, particularly Kimball modeling.
    • Familiarity with the Azure Data stack, encompassing Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL Synapse Analytics.
    • Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills with the capacity to explain complex technical concepts in plain language.
    • Adherence to established protocols and a willingness to innovate within set guidelines.
    • Exceptional time management skills for handling multiple tasks concurrently.
    • Ability to work effectively both in a team setting and independently.
    • Possession of relevant certifications in Azure or data engineering technologies is a bonus.

    Physical Requirements and Compensation:

    The role may entail minimal physical exertion, such as lifting materials weighing less than 10 pounds. The job necessitates spending over 80 percent of time viewing a computer screen. Work will be conducted within a standard office environment with controlled temperature and lighting. Some travel and occasional off-site functions may be required.

    Remuneration and Benefits:

    • Starting salary for Level II position: $75-$95K, based on experience and qualifications.
    • Starting salary for Level III position: $85-$105K, based on experience and qualifications.
    • Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, 401K matching, health club stipend, paid vacation and sick leave, and a structured bonus program.
