    The Job Opportunity

    Experienced role assigned to Scheduling or Cost Engineering or a combination of both. Working under supervision, you will handle project controls tasks based on your training, skills, and experience. As you gain more experience and demonstrate your capabilities, you will be expected to contribute to the preparation of more extensive and intricate project control assignments. While primarily an individual role, you may have supervisory responsibilities and lead smaller to medium-sized projects related to cost and/or scheduling activities.

    The Team

    As a part of BV Operations, your expertise will be utilized in projects supporting our three main market sectors - Governments & Environment, Energy & Process Industries, and Connectivity & Commercial. Our Project Controls Professionals are involved in exciting projects worldwide, ranging from small local initiatives to large-scale Mega Projects. You will contribute to global infrastructure growth and development while focusing on your personal growth. The foundation of BV Operations allows seamless transition to areas where your skills are in demand, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture that presents more challenging opportunities for career advancement.

    Key Duties

    Gain an understanding of EPC work processes and inter-functional dependencies. Develop skills in project risk analysis and comprehend financial/accounting reporting. You may be involved in preparing forecasts with minimal supervision.

    • Maintain and prepare Cost Reports and Cash Flow with minimal supervision.
    • Provide input for monthly/quarterly Reports.
    • Lead quantity management reporting
    • Lead Change management Program
    • Develop familiarity with key scheduling procedures
    • Collaborate effectively with Joint Venture and Subcontract construction partners on cost and progress measurement matters.

    When it comes to Scheduling:

    • Facilitate the preparation of summary schedules.
    • Develop and maintain baseline/execution schedules.
    • Support productivity reporting
    • Assist in critical path and float analysis reporting
    • Gain insight into crucial cost control processes
    • Engage effectively with Joint Venture and Subcontract construction partners on scheduling issues.

    Preferred Requirements

    Prefer a four-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.

    Minimum Requirements

    Hold a four-year Bachelor's degree with at least three years of relevant experience in Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling. Alternatively, without a four-year degree, you should possess six years or more of relevant experience in Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling, either in a Home Office or Field Office setting. All candidates must complete pre-employment requirements if selected, including background checks, drug screening, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

    Work Environment/Physical Demands

    Fieldwork may be involved. The role may require sitting, talking, hearing, keyboard input, writing, climbing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods.
