    **Description:**

    We are currently hiring a 1st shift CNC programmer in Agawam, MA

    In this the role the ideal candidate needs to have strong experience using CAM software, understand how to utilize Microsoft office, and open to being hands on with our machinery. You will be expected to develop programs, run it on our machinery, and instruct the production floor on how to correctly use it.

    We are looking for an individual who preferably has experience with Mastercam, however other software experience that would translate well include: Hyper Mill, Siemens NX, CAM Works, Gibbs CAM, or Esprit.

    You will participate in team building exercises along with continuous improvement initiatives. Continuous improvements can be related to improving CNC processes and programs, and working within new CNC code into existing or legacy programs.

    **Must Haves:**

    + Experience using CAM Software to generate CNC Programs

    + Must be comfortable using CAD software to design holding fixtures, custom cutting tools, and product drawings

    + Must have experience processing work and programming on: horizontal and vertical "4 - Axis / 5 - Axis"

    + Must be comfortable presenting new production introductions, guiding individuals through set-ups, program prove outs & cutting tools

    + MUST HAVE 5 years of experience in manual machining experience and CNC Machines/Controls

    **Additional Skills & Qualifications:**

    + It is important that this candidate knows they will be interacting with Machinists, Supervisors, and Leads

    + They are expected to explain new processes/programs to others on the production floor

    + Swiss Machine experience is huge plus
