Job description
San Marcos Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Middle/Upper School Science Teacher for the school year, as well as This position involves teaching science courses to middle school (7th and 8th grade) students as well as one section of Bible. The ideal candidate will cultivate a dynamic and engaging learning environment that sparks creativity and nurtures a passion for knowledge in students.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for middle school science classes.
- Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a hands-on approach to scientific exploration and discovery.
- Create a supportive and interactive classroom environment that encourages inquiry and active participation.
- Assess student understanding through experiments, projects, and assessments, providing meaningful feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities and support student growth.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the principal

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education.
