    Over the past several years Team MSO adeptly navigated supply chain constraints, rapidly adjusting to support customer mix changes and manufacture millions of additional units to meet upside opportunities through productivity and rapid yield improvements.

    This role will be in the Global Operations (GO) group under MSO and will directly support our manufacturing assembly facilities located throughout the world.


    As a Spares and Service Commodity Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    • Develops and executes commodity and service strategies, as well as drives supplier development through innovation and collaboration.
    • Maintains advanced knowledge of industry and market dynamics, and knowledge of commodities to drive supply chain solutions ahead of Intel's needs.
    • Enables high-volume manufacturing factories, including Technology Development (TD), to install and qualify new equipment by aligning field service engineer (FSE ) resources with suppliers and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
    • Negotiates purchasing contracts, statements of work, and pricing for goods and/or services.
    • Manages suppliers' relationships to provide sustainable cost, quality, availability, and prioritize Intel's needs.
    • Serves as the point of escalation with suppliers for factories challenges related to spares parts and services.
    • Solves and addresses supply chain constrains and other problems as they arise immediately.
    • Ensures that the respective commodity meets the business demand and cost requirements necessary for Intel to develop great products/services for its customers.
    • Promotes and emphasizes safety and safety training to suppliers so the field service engineers (FSE) population remains safe at work.
    • Conducts periodic executive reviews of commodity and service sourcing strategy in partnership with internal teams/customers to shape strategic business objectives and account investments through aligned roadmaps.
    • Enforce contract requirements for spare parts and services as defined in the master agreement.
    • Collaborates with internal & external stakeholders to drive supply chain optimization, understands affordability, set cost targets, and define cost reduction roadmaps through detailed understanding of supplier's financial targets, business objectives, and margins.
    • Reviews and pivots sourcing strategy when required in response to changing market conditions and develops mitigation plans to ensure business continuity.
    • Manages stakeholders to ensure everybody is on the same page and targets are met.

    You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

    Minimum skills and experience that will get you noticed:
    The candidate must possess
    at least one of the following degrees plus the years of experience determined for each degree in the areas specified below:

    • Associate's degree with 5 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Supplier Management, or Procurement.
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain or related field with 4 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Supplier Management, or Procurement.
    • MBA/Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain or related field with 3 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Supplier Management, or Procurement.

    Preferred skills and experience that will make you stand out :

    • Experience in supply ramp, including collaboration with engineering, IP, product development, and contract manufacturing elements.
    • Project management
    • Continues improvement

    Working Model

    This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
