Job Summary

As a Regional Nurse Consultant (RNC) with Elderwood Administrative Services, you will play a key leadership role in supporting our skilled nursing facilities in Western New York. This dynamic clinical leader position requires a passion for guiding and mentoring teams to provide exceptional care.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide clinical oversight, in conjunction with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), to a portfolio of skilled nursing facilities across various states.
Serve as a nurse mentor and advisor to facility leadership, providing consultation and support during Director of Nursing orientation and annual state and federal survey inspections.
Travel as required to various facilities, conferences, and meetings, which may include overnight stays.
Perform hours of work based on need and the amount of time necessary to perform job responsibilities, including on-call and emergencies.

Requirements

Current registration in good standing as a Registered Nurse (RN) in assigned state facilities or ability and willingness to obtain.
Demonstrated evidence and experience as a Director of Nursing.
Operational experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
Knowledge of state and federal LTC regulations.
Reliable transportation.
Proficiency in various computer programs, applications, electronic communications, and electronic medical records.
