- Reviews site plans and building permit applications to assure compliance with the civil engineering and floodplain management provisions of the City Code.
- Reviews and approves Elevation Certificates (with possession of a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) certificate).
- Must be certified, as required by the State of Florida BCAIB, as an Structural Plans Examiner and as an Structural Inspector.
- Training in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) with a possession of a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) certificate required within twelve months.
- Standard Plans Examiner License from the State of Florida
