    Overview

    Our organization continues to grow, and as part of that, we're planning to hire an additional

    Sr Salesforce Developer

    to add to our talented team.

    In this role, you will learn the Gallagher business environment and how Salesforce is being used to align business processes to the platform.

    Responsibilities include to architect, design, develop, and support new and existing solutions on the Gallagher Salesforce environments.

    You will operate as a Salesforce platform expert and guide Gallagher to apply best practices and leverage its core capabilities.

    With a broad technical background, you should be comfortable discussing and demonstrating all aspects of the platform including security and declarative/programmatic extensions.

    How you'll make an impact

    Serve as a Salesforce Application Developer collaborating with customers on the planning, documenting, developing, and implementing of projects.
    Develop Apex (classes and triggers) and maintain existing Visualforce based on specific requirements to implement and support business requirements.
    Development of custom User Interface using Lightning Web Components, Aura Components.
    Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization
    Integrating and maintaining business applications to Salesforce, such as Azure Data Factory, PowerBI, AMS/MDM Solutions.
    Collaborate with the Salesforce Systems Administrator on all projects to determine the optimal technical solutions leveraging the Salesforce platform.
    Provide Salesforce technical leadership for onshore and offshore teams of software and quality engineers.
    Communicate with other team members and internal users regarding project status, technical issues, and creative solutions.
    Work as a member of a project team building new functionality and enhancing existing functionality
    Provide insight into AppExchange products and other technologies that may be effectively leveraged for use within

    Gallagher
    Communicate and enforces coding standards.
    Perform debugging and issue resolution with new and existing code.

    About You

    5+ years as a Salesforce developer in an enterprise-level environment users)
    5+ years of working knowledge of Visualforce, Apex Code,
    2+ years of development experience with Lightning Web components.
    System integration (REST API), including unit test code, and code validation against unit tests.
    Solid understanding of web technologies, such as HTTP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.

    3+ years of experience in SDLC process, agile methodology, including Deployment/Packaging effectively using Metadata API, Change sets and Ant, change control and version management.

    SOQL and Salesforce Data Loader

    Proven strong experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud Administration and development building components in the effort to support core business processes.

    Experience with the following Salesforce applications: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Answers, Ideas, and Knowledge
    Advanced understanding of the data model and how and when to create custom objects, junction objects, and other model items
    Experience with enterprise application integration with Salesforce
    Platform Developer PDI and PDII, JavaScript Developer I, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant and/or Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant certifications nice to have

    Strong verbal and written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.

    Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    Ability to work at a fast pace and cope with conflicting deadlines
