Job summary

This position is responsible for generating new catering and group event business ensuring compliance with all enterprise policies and procedures demonstrating the GILA WAY.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences to both internal and external guests.
  • Assist Sales Department with essential functions expense reports site inspection coordination sales file organization sales related accounting tasks)

  • Create traces for future follow up for those that do not book assist Sales Manager for future connects for those that do.

  • Pprepare sales contracts proposals client documents Coordination of various sales office organizational activities Quote rates communicate with guests meeting planners via verbal written communication Shadow Site Tours as requested by Sales Manager Amenit inventory control relationship vendor provider necessary vendors Manage Knowland Software in coordination with prospecting weekly reporting supplement Delphi excel databases Maintains dependable work attendance record infrequent absences lateness Performs other special projects duties assigned Supervisory Responsibilities This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities Skills/ Requirements High School Diploma equivalent required Associates degree business management hospitality related major preferred Experience working hospitality industry role preferred Ability perform GILA WAY which follows greet interact listen actively appreciate Must possess strong attention detail organisational skills telephone etiquette self-starter ability follow complete tasks timely manner minimum supervision Proficiency in Delphi inventory management system Microsoft Office products Word Excel Outlook Ability multi-task efficiently High degree project organisation skills Able maintain professional image times Ability establish maintain effective working relationships gain cooperation guests fellow team members Strong interpersonal communication skills written oral Position must have acquire within year in-depth knowledge thorough understanding Enterprise Policies Procedures governmental regulations technical rules relevant responsibilities
