    SUMMARY :

    Lazydays RV is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant (Financial Reporting) who is highly motivated to learn and grow within the organization and has a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitask-oriented environment.

    The role reports directly to the Senior Manager of SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with internal controls over various aspects of the financial reporting process as well as technical accounting and financial reporting research.

    This role also requires significant communication and collaboration with the other corporate-based accounting functional teams, corporate-level functional areas (IT, internal audit, FP&A, etc.), and others.

    Essential Job Functions

    Assists with the preparation and review of the quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and ensuring compliance with all reporting and disclosure requirements under US GAAP
    Assist with the preparation of monthly internal management reporting
    Analyzes various monthly balance sheet and income statement activity to ensure financial information has been recorded accurately
    Research disclosure requirements of new accounting standards and transactions and the effect the transaction has on the company's financial statements
    Researches and prepares various technical accounting positions
    Supports internal and external auditors by providing requested support for quarterly reviews and annual audits
    Demonstrates strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
    Maintains a well-organized financial data and document warehouse.

    Responsible for proactive communication and the identification and elimination of non-value added activities that improve the efficiency of the department.

    Responds to internal and external customer information requests in a timely and appropriate manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
    Develop and maintain productive team-oriented relationships through individual contact and group meetings.
    Other duties as assigned

    Role must be based in the Company's headquarters office in Tampa, Florida.

    Education/Experience

    Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required
    Certified Public Accountant or equivalent license preferred
    3+ years of progressive responsibility and experience in comparable business, finance, or accounting roles
    Thorough understanding of US GAAP
    Must have great communication skills and work well in teams
    Ability to handle multiple, concurrent assignments.
    Ability to work with large and complex data sets
    Former public accounting experience with Big 4 or mid-tier firms with at least 1 non-intern busy season of experience. SOX proficiency, IPO/SEC reporting experience is a plus.
    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
    Ability to work with mathematical concepts, such as, probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts, such as, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

    Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software knowledge.
