    Joining Us:

    As a Cook your responsibilities include performing a variety of duties as assigned for food preparation, service and maintenance of dietary equipment and supplies in a sanitary condition

    Must have an overall understanding of the operations of the Assisted Living Community including regulatory compliance. Must demonstrate a passion for working with seniors and lead by example as a team member.


    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the preparation of food according to approved menus.
    • Responsible for assembling and distributing meal trays to residents per community policy and serving residents in dining room.
    • Performs daily and periodic sanitation activities including ware washing, pot washing, cleaning appliances, physical structure, floors, and specific daily cleaning assignments per community policy.
    • Contributes to the effective operations of the department by demonstrating dependability in job performance.
    • Demonstrates commitment to the Mission, Vision, and Values of Inspirit Senior Living.
    • Collaborates with all staff to maintain the safety and security of all who reside, visit, or work in the community.

    Requirements

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Previous experience as a cook required.


    Must have the ability to uphold and support the mission of Inspirit Senior Living, working everyday with integrity, compassion and love.
